Ship In lessons

For those lessoning weekly in a Winter Hill program and/or working student program

Work hours can go directly toward lesson and show fees.

Lessons or Team Practice day: 65

Training rides: 65

Modified training rides: 45

Exercise rides :25

Lunge: 25

Set up for ride/lesson: 15 (before), 25 (before and after).

Horse Use: 25 (encouraged to trade 1 hr. for 1 horse use *)

*School horses are used for introductory lessons. We can help you navigate a lease or purchase to pursue your goals! 

$85/day for show day or lesson at show.

Per Diem split among all riders (hotel, any extras necessary costs such as golf cart, extra tack stall, etc)

Shipping $1/mile

Tack stall/feed stall: split

Deposit due when show is committed to. Deposit includes 50% of estimated show bill and full stall cost.

All feed, care, and supplies. Pasture board with small Annual fee of $250 for blanket care or replacement).

Horses please arrive with the following gear: 

1. Rambo Protector Fly Sheet with neck and DISC front (snaps will RUST SHUT)
2. Shoofly boots (4)
3. Fly mask with ears
4. RHINO liteweight turnout with disc front or snaps
5. RHINO Wug with disc front or snaps

Please plan on new blankets listed above for retirement. We have found these last the longest, are chold up the best, and can wash them easily.

Feed, care, pasture board, use of facilities, 2 rides/week by WH to maintain training. 1x wk lessons required and riders must ride at least 2 days per week including their lesson. If they cannot ride, Winter Hill will ride and add training or exercise rides to monthly lesson invoice. Additional lessons or Winter Hill rides welcome.

Credit tracked/applied to lessons and following month's board.

Riding Board commitment: begin/end daylight savings with contract agreement.

Please provide blankets as listed. If you are showing plan on a blanket and neck rug instead of "wug".

Please have supplies you will use on YOUR ride days (fly spray, bathing supplies, tack cleaner, hoof oil, etc.).

Owners are encouraged to park their trailer on property for trunk storage and supply storage. We have minimal space for extra belongings. Trailer parking and contents at your own risk, please insure as you see fit.
